Montezuma's Orendola

On our way back from the store this afternoon Stuart and I heard a very bizarre sound and then we spotted this bird high up in the trees. It is a Montezuma's Orendola.

Their nests are quite curious as well.

Oh the things you see when you have to walk everywhere.

Ministry in Turrialba

Olivia and all of CINCEL's summer-intensive students traveled beyond San Jose this week to minister and share their testimonies in Spanish to a church in Turrialba.

Stuart had the opportunity to preach for the first time in Spanish as well during the first service.

Many people responded to the altar call.

Don Cartledge ministers to the church in Turrialba.

Fellow student, Natasha sings "Cuan Grande es El" (How Great Thou Art).

Following the service we enjoyed lunch amidst beautiful surroundings.

The first course was great . . .

and the company was interesting as well . . .

the rest of the group agrees.

Butterflies were in abundance . . .

and the view was spectacular.

In just a few short weeks we will wrap up our time here in Costa Rica. Please pray for us during this time of transition as we travel to the States and then onto Mexico.

Praise God

I love the Doxology and I am so thankful for the magnificent God that we serve and for the Body of Christ. No matter where we are in the world, right now we can all join and sing:

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow

Praise Him, all creatures here below

Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost

Happy Independence Day

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.
